Solutions Products Innovations Projects Partners About us

VisionX Audio Visual provides the full array of professional audiovisual integrated system solutions. Here are just a few examples of exciting projects we have successfully completed in the past 24 months. Each project reference included either a high degree of system integration or a challenging installation program.

Some of VisionX's partners we have completed projects for are:

Newcastle Univeristy: Great Hall

(Incorporating Inconyx Steerable Array Sound Reinforcement, Nion Media Matrix Audio Processing, Crestron QuickMedia Matrixed Audio Visual Source Distribution & Crestron Integrated System Control)

The Great Hall was a fantastic project that VisionX enjoyed getting its teeth in too. The project boasted several boutique solutions to solve several challenging venue requirements. The installed Renkus-Heinz Iconyx digitally controlled Steerable Array Speaker Columns deliver consistent SPL over the entire audience area, delivering tight directional control and outstanding sonic performance in this highly reverberant environment, all from two front of house array speakers and subwoofer. Audio Processing is provided by the MediaMatrix Nion, allowing for multiple user preset modes in the Hall and audio distribution output to venue breakout areas. This configurable DSP provides a low-latency audio path, coupled with stable, robust and efficient audio processing. Audio Visual source distribution is achieved via Crestron QuickMedia matrixing, allowing for PC & Video sources from the rack and multiple QuickMedia source input plates to be distributed to the three large venue projection displays in the Hall and multiple LCD displays in the breakout areas. The complete system is controlled via a Crestron wireless Touch Panel and wired front of house Touch Panel, with University network based Crestron XPanel system control & management provided for the University AV Staff.

Newcastle University: MSB (Medical Sciences Building)

(Incorporating Crestron QuickMedia Matrixed Audio Visual Source Distribution, Tandberg Video Conferencing Integration, Audio Streaming, Controlled Multiple Camera & Audio Capture Recording & Crestron Integrated System Control)

The award winning Newcastle University MSB audiovisual system incorprated into the Pharmacy Lecture/Training facility is 'state of the art' to say the least. This incredible venue allows lecturers to capture-record and view-project in real time, mock training sessions taking place in the Pharmacy Simulation Room. Adjoining these two rooms, is two POD based collaborative lecture rooms with dual projection displays, one being an interactive mediaboard. Both lecture rooms can be linked and share sources, with both being able to view events taking place in the Pharmacy Simulation Room, with the option to record not only what is taking place in the Pharmacy Simulation Room, but record and capture the related lecture taking place in the lecture room itself. This lecture can also be Video Conferenced (In High Definition) out to remote locations as well, opening up this facility to students outside the venue. With 12 controllable Sony cameras, and numerous boundary microphones installed, all required viewing angles and sound is captured for presentation and recording. Each student POD has a Crestron QuickMedia Flip Top multimedia input box incorporated into the table so students can connect into the system and display their laptops or audiovisual sources on either of the front projection screens. Each lecture room is controlled via either XPanel on the front bench PC or via a wireless Crestron Touch Panel. A Crestron 12" Touch Panel is located in the Pharmacy Simulation Room, to allow students and teachers to control capture camera angles and recording, being able to preview a current recording on the Touch Panel, with High Definition camera viewing available on a LCD quad split for preview before being sent to the recorder for capture.
